CHARLOTTeSVILLE
This collection of pen and ink drawings record life in my own small hometown of Charlottesville, Virginia. They are inspired by Vincent Van Gogh’s reed pen drawings and seek to capture the similarities of modern life and life in his time. 19th century painters often romanticized the world around them, and I believe there is still plenty of romance around today if you know where to look.
